Chocolate and Valentine’s go together like peanut butter & jelly and cookies & milk. I couldn’t wait to try out my new silicone heart mold for this. I found the mold at Michaels. Good to know just in case you “NEEEEED” one as much as I did. With a coupon you can score it for about six bucks! This is a very simple treat to make and has so many options for decorating. Just be sure to add your toppings immediately onto the top layer before it sets. The pink chocolate curls I used are from ABC Cake Decorating. They have some pretty fabulous goodies you can check out. You can also use a variety of sprinkles, chopped cookies or even crushed candies. I used the melting disks by Wilton for these and tried out their new “bright white.” I can’t say enough about the bright white. It melted so evenly that it was dreamy to work with…not always he case with white disks. I melted the disks using 70% power on my microwave to ensure even melting. If you don’t have a silicone pan you can still make these, of course. Try them out in cupcake liners. They will still be super cute! Happy Heart Creating!
