Chicken Teriyaki
  • 2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • salt
  • ⅓ cup soy sauce
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 1-2 T. oil to fry in
  • 1 tsp. corn starch
  • 2 T. hot water
  • sesame seeds
  • chives, chopped
  1. Pat the chicken dry and season with salt.
  2. Heat the oil in a wok over med-hi
  3. Add chicken and saute to brown all sides and cook for a few minutes.
  4. Stir the sugar into the soy sauce add to wok once the chicken is cooked.
  5. Combine cornstarch and dissolve in water.
  6. Add to the pan and let the sauce thicken.
  7. Stir frequently.
  8. Serve topped with chives and sesame seeds.
  9. Pour all of the sauce over the chicken.
