Caramel Thumbprint Cookies
 
Ingredients
  • 1 cup butter
  • ⅔ cup sugar
  • 2 yolks
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla
  • 2¼ flour
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • caramel sauce
  • ½ c. melted chocolate
Instructions
  1. Beat butter and sugar.
  2. Add yolks and vanilla.
  3. Add flour and salt.
  4. Chill 30 mins.
  5. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  6. Shape dough into 1-inch balls.
  7. On ungreased cookie sheet, place balls 2 inches apart. Press thumb into each ball, forming indentation.
  8. Bake 8-10 minutes or until set.
  9. Press on indent again if needed.
  10. Fill with caramel and add chocolate drizzle.
