Peanut Butter Bars With Milk Chocolate Ganache
 
Ingredients
  • Peanut Butter Bars
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • ¾ cups + 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 large egg + 1 large egg yolk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • Snack size Reese’s peanut butter cups (I didn't measure-just add a lot)
  • ½ cup milk chocolate chips {I use Ghirardelli}
  • Milk Chocolate Ganache:
  • ⅔ cup milk chocolate chips {Ghirardelli}
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream
  • 1 Tablespoon +1 teaspoon unsalted butter, softened
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. Line 8 inch baking dish with nonstick foil.
  3. Beat butter and sugar together.
  4. Add peanut butter and mix well.
  5. Add egg, yolk, vanilla and combine.
  6. Add flour just until incorporated.
  7. Fold in peanut butter cups.
  8. Spread into pan and bake about 40 minutes until set and golden.
  9. Let cool and cut into bars.
