Chocolate Cream Cheese Banana Bread

Ingredients
  

Bread

  • 8 Tablespoons salted butter room temperature
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • ½ cup packed light brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 over-ripe bananas mashed
  • ¾ cup buttermilk
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 ½ teaspoons baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon baking soda

Cream Cheese Mixture

  • 8 ounces cream cheese room temp
  • 1 egg
  • 1 T. flour
  • c. sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Instructions
 

Bread

  • Grease a 10 inch loaf pan and set aide.
  • Preheat oven 350.
  • In a mixer, beat butter and both sugars until creamy.
  • Add eggs.
  • Add bananas.
  • Add flour, cocoa, powder, salt, soda until combined.
  • Add buttermilk until smooth.
  • Pour half into the loaf pan, top with cream cheese mix, spread rest of batter on top and bake 60 minutes or until puffed and done. Let cool 20 mins in pan. Invert onto a cooling rack to cool completely.

Cream Cheese Mixture

  • Beat all together until smooth
