Preheat oven to 350.
Beat butter and sugars together until creamy.
Add egg and molasses.
Slowly add all the dry ingredients and beat until combined.
Chill dough at least 1 hour.
Scoop into balls using an ice cream scoop.
Roll in the sugar and lay on parchment paper.
Press down just gently on the tops.
Bake 10-13 mins.
