Witch Finger Cookies

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup butter room temp
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 2 ¾ cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • Red gel frosting
  • whole blanched almonds boil almonds 60 seconds if you need to remove the skins yourself

Instructions
 

  • Beat butter and sugar.
  • Beat in the egg and vanilla.
  • Slowly add flour, baking powder and salt.
  • Roll into 1-inch balls.
  • Then roll them into 3 inch long ropes and place fingers on a baking sheet.
  • Use a knife to slice the knuckles 3 times and shape into a finger.
  • Press down a spot on the ends for the nail bed.
  • Freeze cookies 30 mins.
  • Bake at 350 10-14 minutes.
  • Once cool, add frosting on nail bed and press on an almond for the nail!
