Witch Finger Cookies
Ingredients
- 1 cup butter room temp
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 egg
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 2 ¾ cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- Red gel frosting
- whole blanched almonds boil almonds 60 seconds if you need to remove the skins yourself
Instructions
- Beat butter and sugar.
- Beat in the egg and vanilla.
- Slowly add flour, baking powder and salt.
- Roll into 1-inch balls.
- Then roll them into 3 inch long ropes and place fingers on a baking sheet.
- Use a knife to slice the knuckles 3 times and shape into a finger.
- Press down a spot on the ends for the nail bed.
- Freeze cookies 30 mins.
- Bake at 350 10-14 minutes.
- Once cool, add frosting on nail bed and press on an almond for the nail!
