Preheat oven 350
Spray three 8-inch cake pans with Pam and line bottoms with parchment rounds.
Beat butter, sugar, oil and vanilla 4 mins.
Add eggs.
Combine flour, bak powder and salt and add half of this to the mixer.
Slowly add milk.
Add rest of the dry ingredients. Don't be alarmed if it looks clumpy!
Divide into pans and bake for 22-25 mins.
Cool and then I like to freeze the layers.
