Chocolate Peanut Butter Poke Cake

Ingredients
  

Cake

  • 1 box chocolate cake mix prepared according to the box

Filling

  • 1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 T. peanut butter

Frosting

  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • ¼ cup butter softened
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon heavy cream
  • ⅔ cup powdered sugar

Decoration

  • chocolate syrup

Instructions
 

  • Bake chocolate cake according to the box.
  • While baking, melt chocolate chips and then stir in the condensed milk and peanut butter.
  • Poke the cake and pour on this chocolate to fill holes.
  • Cool.
  • In a mixer, beat peanut butter, butter, powdered sugar, vanilla and heavy cream.
  • Spread evenly over the chocolate layer.
  • Chill hours.
  • Top with chocolate syrup.
