Peanut Butter Bars With Milk Chocolate Ganache

Ingredients
  

  • Peanut Butter Bars
  • ½ cup unsalted butter softened
  • ¾ cups + 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 large egg + 1 large egg yolk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • Snack size Reese’s peanut butter cups I didn't measure-just add a lot
  • ½ cup milk chocolate chips {I use Ghirardelli}
  • Milk Chocolate Ganache:
  • cup milk chocolate chips {Ghirardelli}
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream
  • 1 Tablespoon +1 teaspoon unsalted butter softened

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350.
  • Line 8 inch baking dish with nonstick foil.
  • Beat butter and sugar together.
  • Add peanut butter and mix well.
  • Add egg, yolk, vanilla and combine.
  • Add flour just until incorporated.
  • Fold in peanut butter cups.
  • Spread into pan and bake about 40 minutes until set and golden.
  • Let cool and cut into bars.
