Chocolate Peanut Butter Ganache Bars

Ingredients
  

  • 3-3/4 cups flour
  • 2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1-1/2 cups butter softened
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup packed brown sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 4 oz. Bittersweet Chocolate melted and cooled
  • ½ cup Peanut Butter
  • 1 bag peanut butter chips
  • 1 bag chocolate chips

Chocolate Topping: (love this !!!! Cuts awesome!!!!!)

  • 4 ounces butter
  • 8 ounces dark chocolate chips
  • 3 teaspoons light corn syrup

Instructions
 

  • HEAT oven to 350°F.
  • COMBINE flour and baking soda. Beat butter and sugars in large bowl with mixer until blended. Add eggs, 1 at a time, mixing on low speed after each just until blended. Gradually beat in flour mixture until blended.
  • DIVIDE dough in half; place in separate bowls. Add melted chocolate to dough in one bowl; mix well. Add chocolate chips when cooled. Add peanut butter to dough in second bowl; mix well. Stir in peanut butter chips.
  • Press peanut butter dough in bottom of 9x9 pan and lay chocolate dough on top. Bake until cooked through approx 30 minutes. Let cool completely and add ganache:

Chocolate Topping

  • Microwave the butter and chocolate until smooth. Stir in corn syrup. Let sit a few minutes to thicken a bit.
