HOMEMADE FETTUCCINE & CLAM SAUCE

Ingredients
  

  • 8 T. butter
  • 2 T. olive oil
  • 4 garlic cloves chopped
  • 4 anchovies
  • 1 c. white wine
  • ½ c. chicken broth
  • 3 cans chopped clams one with the liquid, two without
  • 25 littleneck clams
  • 1 lemon juiced
  • chopped parsley
  • salt/pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Melt butter in a pot that has a cover.
  • Add oil, garlic and anchovies cooking to melt anchovies.
  • Add wine and broth.
  • Add clams and cover pot until clams open. (10-15 mins)
  • Remove cover, add lemon juice, parsley, salt/pepper and serve over linguine.
