White Clam Sauce
HOMEMADE FETTUCCINE & CLAM SAUCE
Ingredients
- 8 T. butter
- 2 T. olive oil
- 4 garlic cloves chopped
- 4 anchovies
- 1 c. white wine
- ½ c. chicken broth
- 3 cans chopped clams one with the liquid, two without
- 25 littleneck clams
- 1 lemon juiced
- chopped parsley
- salt/pepper to taste
Instructions
- Melt butter in a pot that has a cover.
- Add oil, garlic and anchovies cooking to melt anchovies.
- Add wine and broth.
- Add clams and cover pot until clams open. (10-15 mins)
- Remove cover, add lemon juice, parsley, salt/pepper and serve over linguine.
