Heath Bar Cookies

Ingredients
  

  • ¾ cup salted butter
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup light brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 40 ounces Heath bars chopped (about 10 bars)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 325 convection setting (or 375 regular)
  • Beat butter and sugars in a mixer.
  • Add egg and vanilla, scraping sides.
  • Add flour, baking soda and salt.
  • Add chopped candies.
  • Scoop 3 ounces of dough onto parchment lined cookie sheets.
  • Mine took about 12 mins to bake on the convection setting. Keep an eye on them the first time as everyone's oven is different! Use a large cookie cutter to help round the cookie when out of the oven.
  • Cool on pan.
