Heath Bar Cookies
Ingredients
- ¾ cup salted butter
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup light brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp salt
- 40 ounces Heath bars chopped (about 10 bars)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325 convection setting (or 375 regular)
- Beat butter and sugars in a mixer.
- Add egg and vanilla, scraping sides.
- Add flour, baking soda and salt.
- Add chopped candies.
- Scoop 3 ounces of dough onto parchment lined cookie sheets.
- Mine took about 12 mins to bake on the convection setting. Keep an eye on them the first time as everyone's oven is different! Use a large cookie cutter to help round the cookie when out of the oven.
- Cool on pan.
