Ingredients
  

  • 2 ¼ cups all purpose flour 285g
  • ¼ tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp corn starch
  • 1 cup dark brown sugar 200g
  • 3 tbsp granulated sugar 37g
  • 1 egg + 1 egg yolk cold
  • 1 cup salted butter, cold
  • 1 T. vanilla bean paste
  • ¾ cup dark choc chips
  • ¾ cup milk chocolate chips or chunks

Instructions
 

  • Beat butter on high until creamy for about 2 min.
  • Add in sugars beating 2 mins.
  • Add in the egg and egg yolk along with the with vanilla bean paste.
  • Mix on high for 3-4 min.
  • Add dry ingredients and mix.
  • Add in chocolate.
  • Scoop 3 ounces mounds and chill a few hours or overnight.
  • Bake at 350 approx 15 mins.
  • Scoot edges to round out with a cookie cutter.
  • Sprinkle with sea salt.
