Creamy Parmesan Shrimp

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound jumbo shrimp peeled and deveined-seasoned with your faves-I used salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika
  • 2 T. olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • ½ cup Parmigiano Reggiano Cheese
  • parsley chopped for garnish
  • 1 package tortellini cooked, optional

Instructions
 

  • Heat oil in a skillet.
  • Cook shrimp 2-3 mins each side and remove to a plate.
  • Lower heat and add garlic to saute.
  • Add cream and broth, stirring.
  • Add the cheese and whisk in.
  • Simmer 5 mins.
  • Add one package of cooked tortellini, if using.
