Grandma's Potted Meatballs

Ingredients
  

  • Meatballs
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 3 garlic cloves minced
  • ½ cup grated parmesan cheese
  • ½ cup bread crumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1 ½ tsp. kosher salt
  • splash of milk
  • Sauce
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 4 garlic cloves smashed
  • 1 T. butter
  • olive oil
  • 8 ounces tomato sauce
  • 1 ½ cups chicken broth
  • salt to taste.

Instructions
 

  • Roll meatball ingredients and shape into meatballs. Mine were approx 2 ounces and I got 10.
  • Heat oil in a pot.
  • Fry onions and then add garlic.
  • Add tomato sauce and broth.
  • Drop in raw meatballs and simmer on low until cooked through 35-45 mins.
