Pan Fried Chicken in Cream Sauce

Ingredients
  

Blackened Seasoning: This makes extra for another night!

  • 2 T. smoked paprika
  • sprinkle of cayenne pepper
  • 1 T. onion powder
  • 2 tsp. brown sugar
  • 2 tsp. garlic powder
  • ½ tsp. pepper
  • 1 tsp. salt

Chicken

  • 1.5 lbs chicken tenders trimmed
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • ½ onion chopped
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • ¼ cup grated parmesan

Instructions
 

  • Pat tenders dry (key for browning!)
  • Season with blackened seasoning.
  • Heat oil in pan on medium-high.
  • Sear 3–4 min per side until golden.
  • 👉 Remove and set aside
  • Sauce
  • Lower heat to medium, add butter + onion-saute
    Then add garlic → cook 30 seconds (don’t burn!)
  • Add broth → scrape pan (FLAVOR 😍)
  • Stir in cream + parmesan
  • Bring it together and add chicken back in.
  • Simmer 3–5 minutes until cooked through.
  • Serve with pasta!
