This delicious pasta sauce is simple enough to make after a long day at work and tastes like you cooked for hours! All you need are some tomatoes, butter and onion. That’s it and of course, your favorite pasta to toss it with!! I had fun cooking it in my new, pampered chef ceramic pot-love it!!!!!
Pasta Sauce:
2 28-OUNCE CANS WHOLE TOMATOES, PUREE, CRUSHED OR A COMBO OF THESE!
1/2 STICK SALTED BUTTER (4 TABLESPOONS)
1 LARGE ONION PEELED AND HALVED
PLACE ALL IN A LARGE POT AND BRING UP TO A SIMMER. COOK COVERED 45-60 MINS BEING SURE TO BREAK UP THE LARGE TOMATOES IF USING THEM. I ADDED SALT, TOO!!!! DISCARD ONION WHEN DONE COOKING. TOSS WITH HOT PASTA
