This bbq chicken is my new best friend! It is slow cooking and finger lickin good! We are talking one frozen chicken (nooooo defrosting!!!), some bbq sauce, some marmalade and a little Tamari or soy sauce. That’s it. Pop it in the slow cooker and when you return home you will smile from the smell of this chicken in your house. Even my 6 year old (AKA pickiest eater ever), said “What’s that delicious smell?” Why, it’s your dinner sweetheart!!!! hee hee Enjoy!

Barbecue Marmalade Slow Cooker Chicken
Ingredients
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
- 1 cup orange apricot marmalade
- 2 Tablespoons Tamari (or soy sauce)
- scallions, for garnish
Instructions
- Place a whole chicken in the slow cooker. I used a frozen chicken! So easy!
- In a measuring cup, combine the bbq sauce, marmalade and Tamari. (or soy sauce)
- Pour the mixture over the chicken.
- Cook on high for 6 hours.
- Strain liquid and from slow cooker-discard solids.
- Pour this gravy over the chicken.
- sprinkle on some scallions
