Chocolate Chip Crumb Cake
Ingredients
- 1 box Yellow Cake Mix
- ⅔ cup canola oil
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup water
Crumb Topping
- 8 T. cold butter cubed
- 1 cup flour
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 1 cup packed light brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ c. mini chocolate chips
Garnish
- Extra mini chips
- powdered sugar
Instructions
- Preheat oven 350 and line 9x13 pan with nonstick foil.
- Electric mix cake mix, oil, eggs, water.
- Once smooth pour into pan and bake 15 mins.
- Meanwhile, prepare crumbs by beating all ingredients together.
- Carefully remove the cake and sprinkle crumbs on top.
- Bake an additional 15 mins.
- Remove and sprinkle on some extra chips. The heat from the cake will melt them.
- When cool, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
