You can never have too many brownie recipes and this one will fly to the top of your list. I made these Cookies and Cream Brownies for a school breakfast and they were a huge hit. If you adore Oreos, then these will not disappoint! The fluffy white frosting is outrageous on top of a fudgy brownie all drizzled with chocolate sauce and more Oreos! Mmmmmm!!!
You may need:
9×13 Pan
Nonstick Foil
Ingredients
BROWNIES:
- 1 cup butter
- 1⅓ bittersweet chocolate chips
- 4 eggs
- 2 cups sugar
- ¼ tsp. salt
- 1½ tsp.vanilla extract
- ¼ cup + 1 tablespoon cake flour
- ¼ cup + 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
- 15 Oreo Cookies
Frosting
- 8 tablespoons Crisco
- ¼ cup soft butter
- 1 cup Fluff
- 1¼ cups powdered sugar
Topping
- A few Oreos, chopped up
- 2 T. butter
- 2 T. light corn syrup
- ½ cup chocolate chips
- 2 tsp. boiling water
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Line a 9×13” pan with nonstick foil.
- Melt butter and chocolate over low in saucepan.
- Shut heat.
- Whisk the eggs in a large bowl with sugar and salt.
- Slowly whisk the chocolate into the egg mix and add vanilla.
- Sift flour and cocoa in the batter, stir smooth.
- Pour into pan.
- Top with 15 oreos and press down a bit so they get covered with batter.
- Bek 30-35 mins and cool.
Frosting
- Beat crisco and butter.
- Add fluff and vanilla.
- Slowly add powdered sugar.
- Spread over cool brownies and top with chopped oreos.
Topping
- Melt butter and corn syrup in a small saucepan.
- Off the heat, stir in chocolate chips.
- Add water and stir to thin.
- Drizzle over the frosting.
- Chill and slice!
