Fudge filled peanut butter cake bars are a peanut butter lover’s dream! These are adapted from my friend Mell. I love when she sends me her favorite recipes by email! Thanks Mell! The filling is rich and decadent and the cake portion is packed with peanut butter. We are actually using a little help from a box mix here so these are beyond simple to throw together! I like to serve these with melted peanut butter just to drive home the yummy flavors. Not necessary, but highly suggested! ha! I hope you enjoy these Fudge Filled Peanut Butter Cake Bars!
You may need:
nonstick foil-a lifesaver
Fudge Filled Peanut Butter Cake Bars
Ingredients
- 1 box mix for yellow cake
- 2 eggs
- ½ cup melted butter
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- ½ cup peanut butter
Fudge Filling
- 2 cups chocolate chips
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk
- 2 T. butter
Instructions
Cake
- Mix all together.
- Pour 1/2 into 9x13 pan lined with nonstick foil.
Fudge
- Microwave all until melted and pour on crust.
- Top with other half of cake mix spreading the best you can.
- Bake at 350 for 20-25 mins.
- Cool and serve with melted peanut butter, if desired.
