Seared Filet Mignon
Ingredients
- 4 filet minons season with salt/pepper/garlic powder
- 1 T. olive oil
- 4 T. butter
- 4 garlic cloves smashed
Instructions
- Preheat oven 425℉
- Heat oil in a cast iron skillet until HOT.
- Add filets and cook undisturbed for 2 mins each side.
- Remove from heat and add butter/garlic.
- Spoon the melted butter over the filets.
- Bake 6-8 mins or until 140-145 for medium.
- Let rest, covered, before slicing.
