Buffalo Chicken Pizza
Ingredients
- 1 pizza crust (store bought or homemade-this one is my fave!) Mine was rolled to about 12 inches
- Fontina Cheese, shredded (I didn't measure-use as much as you like! I would guess around 1½ -2 cups)
Chicken
- 3 cups cooked chicken thighs-(I pan fried boneless, skinless thighs seasoned with garlic powder, salt and paprika-then cut into cubes)
- 4 T. butter, melted
- ½c. Frank's Red Hot Wing Sauce
- Parsley for garnish
Instructions
Buffalo sauce
- Combine the melted butter with hot sauce.
- Pour the sauce over your chicken and stir until you have the amount you want. I probably used just about half. Save the rest to serve on the side.
- Prebake crust (brushed with olive oil) at 500 degrees on a stone for about 7-8 mins. (I lay it on a parchment round for the first 2 mins and then remove the parchment. This makes it easier to get it into the oven with a pizza peel.)
- Remove and sprinkle on a layer of cheese.
- Top with the buffalo chicken.
- Add an extra sprinkling of cheese to hold everything together and return to the oven for 9-13 minutes.
- Remove and let cool 15-20 mins. before attempting to cut!
- Serve with parsley, extra buffalo sauce and blue cheese dressing, if desired.
