Candy Cake
For my son’s 6th grade graduation, I made him this Candy Cake. We were still in the midst of the corona virus so I knew candy was the key to making it an extra special celebration! I ordered his favorite candies on Amazon and the cake is simply just boxed mix cake and canned frosting…yup! A kid’s dream come true! Next weekend is my younger son’s birthday. Guess what he has requested? Yup! Stay tuned for his candy cake next! (updated pics are below of cake #2!!!) To make the “Jaden” chocolate, I melted chocolate in a piping bag and wrote his name on wax paper. I let that chill in the fridge a few minute s until it peeled right off. Then, I added a dab of melted chocolate to attach the skewer.
Here are the links to the candies:
Bottle Pops, push pops, juicy drops, ring pops
Here are the pictures of Jake’s 10th birthday Candy Cake! He absolutely adored it!
Here is our latest candy cake for Jake’s 11th birthday! I baked two 9×13 vanilla cakes (from a box) and used this homemade frosting! The kids never even wanted a slice of cake after devouring the candy! I also bought Duck Donuts to top this one!
