My friend’s sister has her own bees and jars her own raw honey! Amazing! I was lucky enough to be spoiled with my own jar of honey!!! What a treat!!! I used it to make this incredible Crispy Honey Chicken! Thanks to my sweet friend for this winner!
You’ll Need:
Honey
Skillet
Crispy Honey Chicken Tenders
Ingredients
Chicken
- 1 pound chicken tenders
- ¼ cup honey
- ½ cup Panko (I used gluten free)
- ½ cup cornstarch
- 2 eggs
- kosher salt
- olive oil
sauce
- ½ cup honey
- 2 tsp. mayonnaise
- 2-3 tsp. dijon mustard
Instructions
Chicken
- Pour the ¼ c honey over the chicken to coat well.
- Let this sit in the fridge 1 hour.
- Heat olive oil in skillet for pan frying.
- Combine the cornstarch and panko on a plate.
- Beat the eggs in a bowl.
- Dip the honey coated chicken in the egg and then into the cornstarch/flour mix.
- Pan fry a few minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
- Sprinkle both sides with kosher salt while cooking.
- Remove to a paper towel lined plate to draine excess oil.
Sauces
- Whisk together honey, mayo and mustard.
- Dip chicken into sauce! Mmmmm!
