I am a cheesecake fanatic! I love and adore the Cheesecake Factory and have so much fun trying new flavors. That said, sometimes you just want a simple comforting type of cheesecake. That’s where the Oreos come in! I mean, who doesn’t love Oreos? Especially chopped up inside a creamy, dreamy cheesecake. Get baking!
Oreo Cheesecake
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Food process 26 cookies to form fine crumbs. Mix crushed cookies with butter; press onto bottom and 2 inches up side of 9-inch springform pan. Wrap sides of pan with foil (in case butter leaks out in oven and it will!!!)
Beatcream cheese and sugar to blend. Add sour cream and vanilla. Add eggs, 1 at a time, mixing on low speed after each just until blended. Stir in chopped Oreos. Pour into crust.
Bake 1 hour or until center is almost set. Run knife around rim of pan to loosen cake. Cool on rack and then chill overnight. Remove rim after chilling. I added some chocolate frosting in the center and an oreo!
