CHOCOLATE DIPPED MARSHMALLOWS ON CANDY CANES

Need an adorable idea for Christmas favors, snacks, desserts or stuffing stockers? These goodiesare just perfect! They are also delicious and the kids go wild for these! You can use whatever colored chocolates you like to fancy them up and sprinkles, too. You could also try the various festive flavored candy canes to make them more thematic. This also comes in handy for kids who don’t like peppermint canes. I like to use white chocolate for some and milk chocolates for others to add a pop of color. These treats look fabulous wrapped in cello paper with ribbon or just displayed on a platter so everyone can just dig in and grab one. These happen to make great gifts, too or you can tie them onto gifts as a little edible trinket. However you choose to “gift” them will be well received by those you love. You may also love Christmas Hot Chocolate Bombs and Candy Cane Christmas Cheesecake.

Another idea could be leaving the hook part on and dangling it from a mug filled with hot cocoa mix.

it is very easy to melt take a baking bowl and put your chocolate chips in there place bowl in hot water and wait for chocolate to melt don’t scortch chocolate at bottom let the choc melt then begin to dip your sticks place on baking tray and then into fridge for a minute until they set then remove and package, when u have dipped them put your decorations on so that when they set they wont come off

I’m planning on making with 4 yr old grandson this weekend.

When you lay on baking tray, won’t the chocolate come off on one side?
What did you use to decorate with melted red & green chocolate to get such nice thin lines?

Great idea. My husband wants me to help him with candy boxes for his work clients & this would be a great recipe. One change I would make is to use pretzel sticks instead of peppermint sticks.. THX for the great idea..
