Skip the bakery and make your own sprinkle cookies at home!!!
1 1/3c. soft butter
1 1/2c. sugar
1 tsp vanilla
3 3/4c. flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
Preheat oven to 350 and line cookie sheet with parchment paper. Roll dough into golf ball size balls (I weighed the dough into 5 ounce balls!) Dip tops in sprinkles and flatten tops a lot as they will barely spread! Bake 15-18 mins!!! Only bottoms should be lightly browned. Let cool.
FINALLY! I hope my search is over…these look like the cookies served in diners in the North East, which are also sometimes covered with chocolate chips. I am anxious to give this recipe a try after a long search.
