Cookie Dough Oreo Sandwiches
Luckily it is time for another month of Two Sweetie Pies! Another month of 2 Sweetie Pies with That Skinny Chick Can Bake means another wonderful dessert! Always a success when you bake from Liz’s blog! Each month we bake up a recipe from each other and keep it a secret until reveal day! Super fun! Last month, Liz made my cookie dough recipe but “Wowed” me when she sandwiched it between two Oreo thin halves! I had never even bought an Oreo thin before! Cookie Dough Oreo Sandwiches
Ingredients
- 1 13.1 ounce package of Oreo Thins
- ½ cup butter room temperature
- ½ cup light brown sugar
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- ¼ cup milk or cream
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 ½ cups flour cooked (microwaved to 160 degrees for safety)
- 1 cup mini chocolate chips plus more to garnish if desired
Instructions
- Carefully separate all the Oreos into 2 halves, trying to keep them intact.
- Beat butter and sugars.
- Add vanilla and cream.
- Mix in the salt and flour.
- Stir in the chocolate chips.
- Add a small scoop of cookie dough to half of each pair of split cookies.
- Place the other half on top and press gently to make the sandwich.
- Press more mini chips around the sides.

I might not be the huge cookie dough lover (Yes I know these strange folks do exist haha!), but I must admit these oreo sandwiches look elegant and rather tempting! So okay, I will take one, or maybe three please 🙂

How many cookies does this recipe make? Also, do you scrape the cream off the cookie halves?

I did not scrape them off and it makes approx 24.
