This is a twist on the traditional ice box cake that calls for Nabisco chocolate wafers. Instead, we are using Oreo thins here. Regular oreos are too thick and won’t soften up properly so be sure you buy the thins. This version is a bit sweeter than the original due to the yummy oreo cream….that is why I have chosen to use unsweetened cream. Thin slices are all you’ll need for HUGE smiles. Oreo Ice Box Cake
Ingredients
- 1 ½ boxes Oreo Thins
- 2 cups heavy cream
Instructions
- Beat the cream until soft whipped cream, not stiff.
- Lay cookies on small, round cake plate.
- Spread on cream and repeat placing cookies in a circular pattern
- Chill overnight and serve!
