Snickers Caramel Poke Cake
This Snickers Caramel Poke Cake is as insane as it looks. So many yummy things going on here! Cake, caramel, snickers, oh my!! I even used a shortcut and made a box mix cake! I figured since I would be poking holes into it and drizzling caramel sauce in, it would still be delicious! And, it was!! Oh,did I forget to mention the peanut butter drizzle on top? Swooooon, a perfect little decoration right there!
Snickers Caramel Poke Cake
Ingredients
- 1 box mix chocolate cake prepared according to box and baked in greased 9 x13 pan.
Caramel topping
- ½ cup sweetened condensed milk
- 1 cup caramel sauce
Peanut Butter Whipped Cream
- 2 cups heavy whipping cream cold
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- ⅓ cup peanut butter
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
Chocolate Sauce
- 8 ounces semisweet chocolate finely chopped
- ¾ cup heavy cream
Decoration
- caramel sauce
- chocolate sauce
- chopped snickers
- 3 T. melted peanut butter
Instructions
- When cakes comes out of oven, poke holes all around. I used back of a wooden spoon.
- Mix together the caramel and condensed milk and pour it over the cake and into those holes.
- Cool to room temp.
Whipped Cream
- Whip all on high to stiff peaks.
- Spread on the cooled cake and top with chocolate sauce, then chopped snickers, caramel, and melted peanut butter.
Chocolate Sauce
- Heat cream to a boil and pour over chocolate. Whisk smooth and let cool. When room temp pour over whipped cream so it doesn't melt it. I only used about half of this on the cake. Save other half for ice cream!
