My Kids love hibachi, well so do we! hee hee The fried rice off that hibachi table always tastes just incredible. Now you can make it at home and it is easier than you think! Feel free to change the veggies I used to fit what your family loves! There are no rules for fried rice!
You’ll Need:
2 skillets
Tamari
Fried Rice
Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked brown rice
- 5 eggs
- oil (a few tablespoons)
- Butter ( a few tablespoons)
- Tamari Sauce (No measuring, you'll just pour it in!!!)
- 1 large onion, diced
- 1 container mushrooms
- 3 large carrots, sliced on a diagonal
- 3 scallions, sliced
- 1 cup frozen corn (or fresh roasted)
- 1 cup frozen peas
Instructions
- Heat 2 T. oil in a large skillet and cook onions until soft.
- Push to the side and add a drop more oil.
- Cook the 5 eggs making them into scrambled eggs!
- Remove to a plate.
- Add the mushrooms and saute until golden.
- Remove to the egg plate.
- Cook the carrots with a little water until for tender. Add 1 tablespoon butter, toss.
- Add the cooked rice to the skillet.
- Add the peas, corn, carrots, mushrooms and eggs.
- Pour in the Tamari sauce to moisten it all!
- Add 2-3 Tablespoons butter and stir to melt.
- Serve hot with chopsticks!
