How much is a stick of butter in your peanut butter cup cheesecake bars? 1 cup? I bought a stick of butter and used the whole bar and it’s definitely way too much. Instead of being like a crust, it looks more like soup.
danielle says
1 stick of butter =1/2 cup or 8 tablespoons
Barbara says
Just an FYI, when you print out the recipe, the peanut butter cups are not listed in the ingredient section.
Hugs & Cookies xoxo says

How long to chill for because my ganache is runny
Hugs & Cookies xoxo says
Try a few hours then

Could I use semi-sweet chocolate pieces instead of peanut butter. I think it would be okay?!
Hugs & Cookies xoxo says
Worth a try! YUM!
Morgan says
How do you cut them without destroying them? Is there a special trick?
Robert says
Add just a tiny splash of whipping cream and it will be a little easier to spread also I added a touch more peanut butter than it called for
Dani says
Is the ganache layer supposed to be liquidy or runny? Will it eventually set up?
Hugs & Cookies xoxo says
Liquidy at first but as it cools it will firm up.
Dani says

i made these once already and it was so good,so rich.My question is this:do i need to get the dark choc really hot and whats the best method for drizzling it over the PBCC bars?
Hugs & Cookies xoxo says
I use the microwave to melt it and a pastry bag to drizzle it.
Gabrielle says
Hello!!! Yum!!! In ur opinion, do u think this could be adapted and made into a 9 inch cheesecake using a springform pan? I’ve done Reese and Buckeye cheesecakes… But this one looks amazingly delicious and unique! So, I would LOVE to try it… But want ur opinion… Thanks much!!!
Hugs & Cookies xoxo says
hmm, love your idea just not sure how well it would fit!! ??

I’m gonna have to try it sometime… Maybe a couple modifications… But this why looks sooo good! I just get requests to make cheesecakes all the time… So it’s kind of become “my thing”… Lol! Thanks for responding!!! Merry Christmas!

At the ganache part it says to pour over bars and then at the end it says to melt dark chocolate chips and drizzle, So my question is, Do I pour all that ganache mix over bars and THEN on to of that drizzle the dark chocolate? I’m only asking because in the pictures it doesn’t have the chocolate poured over it with drizzle, it ONLY has the drizzle, am I missing something?? Lol plz let me know asap because I’m making these as a surprise for my 7yrs olds celebration dinner for him becoming a part of my family legally!!!! I’m SO HAPPY and he deserves this!! Thank you so much…
Hugs & Cookies xoxo says
how exciting!!! The bars do have the ganache, it is actually a peanut butter ganache not a chocolate one. Hope that helps!
