Triple Chocolate Chip Cookies
This is truly a fabulous copy of a Levain bakery cookie! Crispy edges and soft center make them irresistible! This cookie will require a scale for measuring and black cocoa powder. I have linked both to Amazon for you!

Triple Chocolate Chip Cookies
Ingredients
- 2 sticks salted butter
- 160 g light brown sugar
- 160 g caster sugar
- 400 g chocolate chips I used 100 grams white chips and 300 a combo of milk/dark
- 300 g all-purpose flour
- 130 g self rising flour You can make this with 1 c. flour, 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder, 1/4 tsp. kosher salt and measure after you mix
- 70 g black cocoa powder
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 3 eggs
- 1 egg yolk
- ¼ tsp vanilla
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400.
- In a mixer, beat butter just to break up, not cream.
- Add sugar and mix until lumpy.
- Add chocolates and stir.
- Add flour, cocoa, salt, baking powder to combine.
- Mix eggs/yolk in a bowl and then add to mixer with vanilla to form dough.
- Measure out 125 g. mounds and lay on parchment...not too tall or won't spread.
- Bake for 15 mins. Centers will look slightly underdone but will set up as they sit.
- Leave on tray at least an hour or 2 but can eat after 20 mins!
