Well, that name caught your attention didn’t it? Don’t worry, these are not sweet doughnuts they are savory. This is a super fun side dish to serve. It is like eating spaghetti carbonara by hand in the shape of a doughnut! I snagged my doughnut pans right off of amazon here.

Spaghetti Doughnuts
Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked spaghetti
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese
- ¼ cup grated parmesan
- splash of heavy cream 1-2T
- salt to taste
Instructions
- Stir everything together.
- If too watery, add more mozzarella cheese.
- Pour into greased muffins tins.
- Bake 375 12-17 minutes until golden.
- cool 2 minutes, pop out of pan and serve hot!

Fascinating! Somebody (or somebodies) please make these. To get my family to even try these I will need to “up th ante” a little. I could use some add-in suggestions such as crisp bacon bits, finely crumbled and cooked sausaage, herbs? Soft-cooked diced peppers? Maybe a dusting of chili powder/Parmesan? Any ideas about what may work?

Yes, this definitely caught my attention and this is a brilliant idea. I love spaghetti but most of the time I skip it because it’s quite messy and hard to eat if you are on a go. I just end up grabbing a sandwich instead. But these spaghetti doughnuts are heaven-sent. I super love it.

I made these. They were pretty great! You compared them to spaghetti carbonara – they seemed to me far more like (almost identical, really) to a spaghetti frittata, sometimes known in the US by the misnomer Neapolitan omelette. Same ingredients, same flavor profile, just in snack form! I may never make a spaghetti frittata again!
