Banana Bread Cheesecake
I love banana bread and I love cheesecake so this was a no-brainer combo in my world! If you adore them both, you have to try this banana bread cheesecake! Serve it with whipped cream, caramel or even hot fudge! Yum!
You may need:
9 inch springform pan
Banana Bread Cheesecake
Ingredients
- 4 very ripe bananas
- ¼ cup vegetable oil
- 1 egg
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 ½ cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
Cheesecake
- 32 oz soft cream cheese
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon vanilla
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon gelatin powder
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
- Mash the banana with a fork.
- Add the oil, egg, sugar, and vanilla.
- Add the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
- Stir to combine.
- Pour batter into greased 9-inch springform pan.
- Bake for 30-40 minutes, until the top is set.
Cheesecake
- In a mixer, beat cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla.
- Microwave the milk until hot, and add gelatin powder.
- Stir fast to dissolve gelatin. (stir 5 mins)
- Pour the gelatin mixture over the cream cheese and whisk smooth.
- Pour this cheesecake mixture over the baked banana bread crust.
- Chill for a minimum of 4 hours.
- Unmold the pan, slice and serve!
- I topped mine with chocolate dipped banana slices.
