Breakfast Pizza
Now this is a unique breakfast that will be loved by all! I highly recommend getting your pizza crust from your favorite pizzeria!
Breakfast Pizza
Ingredients
Crust
- 1 pizza dough (16 ounces) I like to get it from the pizzeria
- olive oil
- salt
Toppings
- 9 eggs
- 1 T. butter
- 1 T. half and half
- chives, chopped
- salt/pepper to taste
- 5 slices bacon, cooked crisp and chopped
- ½ c. mozzarella cheese, hand shredded (I like Polly-O)
- ½ c. 4 cheese combo shredded in a bag You may want more or less cheese. Use your personal judgement.
- 2 T parmesan cheese
- parsley, chopped for garnish
Instructions
Pizza Crust
- Preheat oven with a pizza stone in it to 500 degrees.
- Roll out dough on a parchment round.
- Brush with olive oil and a sprinkle of salt.Bake 5 mins. Remove parchment and bake 3 more minutes.
Toppings
- Melt butter in a skillet.
- Crack 7 eggs. Whisk with half & half. Season with salt.
- Scramble eggs until set but a drop underdone. They will finish cooking in the oven.
- Once crust is done, top with half of the cheeses, the scrambled eggs and bacon. Add more cheese. Crack the remaining 2 eggs into a middle spot. Sprinkle parmesan on the crust.
- Use a pizza peel to carefully slide pizza back onto the stone and bake 9 mins.
- Top with parsley.
