What is meatloaf mix? Thanks
Lucy VanNorstrand says
Like the lady said, you see it in meat case at your grocer. It is a prepackaged sale of the most commonly selected mix of ground meats used in making a tasty meatloaf. You can always mix and match your own ratios by making separate purchases of your choice of ground meats.
Maxine says
I just used all lean ground beef, it was delicious!

That’s a great idea! I was going to use muffin tins but that type of a pan is just a bit more effort to clean (I’m lazy!). Thanks Monika.
Kevin says
I got mine at walmart
Mary Lou says
I have a similar recipe. Instead of using a pan just make several small meatloafs placed on a cookie sheet covered with parchment paper. The meatloafs will stick to aluminum foil even if is sprayed.

I have made this twice now and we love it! Cooks quick as mini loaves so it is great for not having the oven on very long. Thank you for sharing.

I think it will change the texture.
Kris says
just put regular oats in food processor and run a bit.

I made this the other night not sure if my picky eaters would like it and they did. I could not find veal at any of my local grocery stores, so I used ground lamb and it still tasted really good. I will definitely make it again.

Suzette says
Do you use fresh parsley or dried parsley? Thank you.
Hugs & Cookies xoxo says
fresh!!!
LindyLou says
I love this recipe. Other than one change I love it. Because our stores don’t have the 3 meat packs, I made this with the Ground Chuck and Crumbled breakfast sausage or Italian sausage!! It was great. I have bought pond of each of the three meats and frozen a mass of meatloaf, but that is too much for my freezer usually. I freeze the meat in meals for 2 size sealed bags. If I need more I just open the appropriate amount. I freeze the uncooked Meatloaf in the tins, then remove and seal into bags.
Thois is a big hit when the family comes to visit!! Instead of cooking for 2, I am cooking for 6-8.
LindyLou says
Just as I clicked post I saw 3-4 errors!!! I wish there was an “edit post”on this page. Oh Well!!! LOL
Hugs & Cookies xoxo says
no worries!!!!!!

Sylvia P says
I decided to try this meatloaf recipe, because I found the recipe I’ve been using for years to be not that great and I just KNEW that there had to be a better one out there somewhere, and this is IT! Hubby and I LOVED it and my granddaughter tried some and she loved it as well. She even asked me to share this recipe with her mother (my daughter), because her mom’s meatloaf was awful! LOL Thanks for this fantastic meatloaf recipe. It’s definitely a keeper!
Karen says
Paprinka 🙂
Robin says
Reading the comments, seems like I’m the only dummy to misread “stone ground mustard” as “ground mustard seed”. After I scraped off the tongue-burning top it tasted great! The inside of the loaf was delicious though, so I’ll be making this again the *right* way!
Hugs & Cookies xoxo says
oh no hahahha
Stephanie says
Uh… So I have been using ground mustard seed the whole time. (I did cut the pepper amount down; too spicy otherwise.) I feel so stupid. But my family loves it. So I am going to keep making it the way I make it, I guess! But boy do I feel stupid.
Steve says
Great recipe! I substituted ground turkey and cut the oats by half. Cooked them 45 minutes in the mini loaf pans. The leftovers were gone the next day! Thank you for sharing!
Hugs & Cookies xoxo says
Awesome!!
Carla says
Try this recipe using a bunt cake pan, using the ridges for slicing.

Hugs & Cookies xoxo says

Carol says
Hi what is stoned ground mustard? Is it a powder or a gritty mustard spread like Dijon?
Hugs & Cookies xoxo says
