Pretzel Crusted Buffalo Chicken
This is a fabulous chicken and goes great with a caesar salad. You can toss the chicken in the buffalo sauce or just drizzle on top depending how much heat you want. I fried the tenders but you can also bake them if you prefer. I also added bacon into our salad! Here is my fave caesar dressing!
Pretzel Crusted Buffalo Chicken
Ingredients
- 1 egg beaten
- 1 pound boneless chicken tenders
- 1 cup finely crushed salted pretzels
- 1 tablespoon dried chives
- 1 handful fresh parsley chopped
- 1 tablespoon dried dill
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion salt powder
- ½ teaspoon dried Ranch seasoning (Trader Joes_
- extra virgin olive oil
Buffalo Sauce
- ½ cup hot sauce
- ½ cup melted butter
- ½ teaspoon paprika
- ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon pepper
Instructions
- Combine the pretzels with the seasonings.
- Dredge chicken in the egg, then pretzel mixture and then pan fry in olive oil until golden on both sides. Drizzle Buffalo Sauce on top.
Buffalo Sauce
- Mix all ingredients to combine.
